NOLA Restaurant Recommendations

##Restaurants

Cochon

  • Great, authentic cajun food. One of our favorites, especially for out-of-towners. They also have the best charbroiled oysters in town.

Herbsaint

  • Same chef as Cochon (my favorite NOLA chef), more upscale food.

Peche

  • Still the same chef, this time seafood. They have a custom wood-fired grill that they do a whole grilled redfish on, which is very good. Also a good raw bar. It won James Beard's Best New Restaurant in 2013 and has since been packed. Lunch is also a great option here. Don't miss the fried bread.
